These Terms of Use apply to:

Guests – Visitors who browse the website without registering.

Members – Registered users who transact on the website.

Koura reserves the right to modify, update, or terminate any part of the website or services without prior notice. Regularly reviewing these Terms & Conditions is your responsibility to stay informed of any changes.

 

Our Services

Koura specializes in offering:

Customizable Jewelry: Select mounts and diamonds/gemstones to create unique designs.

Ready-Made Jewelry: Choose from our curated collection of necklaces, rings, earrings, and more.

 

Product Representation

Images and descriptions are provided to ensure clarity but may differ slightly from actual products due to photography techniques, screen resolutions, or other visual factors.

The weight of the jewelry may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of the products or material changes during production. Such variations are within an acceptable professional range and do not affect the quality or value of the item.

Jewelry is sold on an "as-is" basis unless explicitly mentioned.

 

Order Placement

To place an order, users may:

Add items to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

Customize jewelry and finalize the design before adding to the cart.

For orders exceeding ₹50,000, government-mandated details like PAN or GST numbers must be provided.

 

Order Confirmation

Orders are confirmed only after:

Full payment is received.

Verification questions (if applicable) are answered.

Koura may decline orders if payment is rejected by the bank or fails security checks.

 

Pricing & Payment

All prices listed on the website are subject to change without prior notice, based on market fluctuations.

The price applicable at the time of purchase will apply to your order.

Delivery Policy

Customized Jewelry: Diamonds/gemstones will be set on selected mounts, and the final product will be shipped after quality checks.

Ready-Made Jewelry: Items will be manufactured (if required) and dispatched.

Products will typically be delivered within 15 working days from the date of order confirmation, subject to product availability and customization requirements.

Delivery timelines will be communicated during checkout.

Certification & Quality

All jewelry weighing over 2 grams is BIS hallmarked, ensuring authenticity and quality.

Diamonds are certified by reputed gemological institutions like IGI, SGL.

 

Liability Disclaimer

Koura is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:

Misuse of the website.

Decisions based on investment recommendations.

Koura Credits & Cash

Koura Credits and Cash are issued for promotional or refund purposes and are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.

 

Warranty

Koura provides a lifetime warranty on all jewelry against manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, physical damage, or mishandling.

 

Repair Services

Customers can avail of free repair services for up to one year after purchase.

Beyond one year, repairs may be charged based on the type of damage and material costs.

 

Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased on the website are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable.

Gift cards can only be redeemed on the Koura website.

 

Loyalty Program

Members of Koura’s loyalty program earn points on every purchase.

Points can be redeemed for discounts or other benefits, subject to program-specific terms.

 

Koura Signature Gold Plan 10+1 Monthly Installment Subscription

Subscription Details

To subscribe to the Koura Signature Gold Plan 10+1, select a fixed monthly installment amount. The minimum installment is INR 1000, and subsequent payments must be in multiples of INR 100.
After 11 months, you will be eligible for a special discount equivalent to one month's installment amount.
Only residents of India who are 18 years or older are eligible to subscribe.
The Koura Signature Gold Plan 10+1 is non-transferable. However, in case of the subscriber’s death, the nominated beneficiary, as specified at the time of subscription, may continue the remaining payments and use the plan to redeem products.
Koura reserves the right to cancel the Koura Signature Gold Plan 10+1 and refund the subscription amount if the details provided by the subscriber are incorrect or incomplete, or if the subscriber fails to provide valid ID proof within 30 days of enrollment. Refunds will be processed as per Koura's policy and may not be issued in the same payment method used by the subscriber.
No interest will be paid on the installment amounts.

 

Payment and Redemption

Installments must be paid on or before the due date each month. Payments can be made at Koura stores or online.
The Koura Signature Gold Plan 10+1 applies only to diamond-studded, gemstone-studded, plain gold, and preset solitaire jewelry. Coins and solitaires are not available under this plan.
Upon completion of the 11th installment, your plan will be auto-redeemed. A voucher will be issued, valid for 7 months, based on the number and timing of installments paid. The voucher can be used for purchases online or at Koura stores.
If you wish to redeem your plan before the 11th month, you can do so after completing at least 6 months of payments. Please note that early redemption will result in a reduced discount.

 

Discount Eligibility

Discounts are available once at least 5 installments are paid on time, and from the 6th month onward. The applicable discount varies based on the number of installments paid:

  • 10 Installments Paid
    You will receive a full discount on one installment, plus the 1st installment discount. Redemption will occur in the 11th month.
  • 7 Installments Paid
    You will receive a 50% discount on one installment, plus the 1st installment discount. Redemption will occur in the 8th month.
  • 5 Installments Paid
    You will receive a 25% discount on one installment, plus the 1st installment discount. Redemption will occur in the 6th month.

Important Note:

If you fail to pay at least 5 installments or miss more than 2 payments, you will not be eligible for any discounts. In this case, the voucher issued will reflect only the total value of installments you have successfully paid.

 

Late Payment and Redemption Adjustments

Missing more than 2 payments will forfeit your eligibility for any discounts. The voucher issued at redemption will then reflect only the sum of the installments you have successfully paid to date.

 

Cancellation/Termination

If you decide to cancel or terminate the plan before completing the 11 months, you will receive a voucher equivalent to the total amount paid. This voucher can be used for the purchase of diamond-studded, gemstone-studded, plain gold, or preset solitaire jewelry. Coins and solitaires are excluded.
No refund will be issued for the monthly installments paid up to the point of cancellation.
Any discounts that were applied will be deducted from the total value of the voucher upon cancellation.

Fraud Prevention

Koura actively monitors and investigates fraudulent transactions.

Any suspicious activity may result in the cancellation of the order and suspension of the account.

Privacy and Data Protection

All personal and payment information provided on the website is secured using encryption technology.

Koura adheres to strict data protection regulations and will not share your information with third parties without consent.

 

Force Majeure

Koura is not liable for any delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Strikes

Technical disruptions

Government regulations

Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from transactions will first be attempted to resolve through mutual consultation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

 

Fraud Prevention & Detection

Transaction Monitoring:

Koura actively monitors all transactions for fraud prevention. If any suspicious activity is detected, Koura reserves the right to cancel orders, suspend user accounts, and take necessary actions as per applicable law.

 

Suspicious Activity:

Any user suspected of engaging in fraudulent activities, including using stolen credit card information, misrepresentation of identity, or unauthorized transactions, will have their account suspended immediately. Legal action may be pursued if necessary.

 

Misuse of Promotional Offers

Abuse of Discounts & Coupons:

Promotional offers, discounts, and coupon codes can only be used once per customer. Koura reserves the right to withdraw any offer or discount if misuse or fraudulent activity is detected.

 

Loyalty Programs:

Loyalty program points can be redeemed for discounts or benefits, subject to specific program terms. Any abuse of the loyalty program will result in account suspension.

 

Verification of Identity & Payment

High-Value Orders:

For orders exceeding ₹50,000, customers may be required to provide additional verification information, including PAN or GST details. Koura reserves the right to cancel any order if verification fails or is deemed suspicious.

 

Payment Rejections:

Koura may reject orders if payment is unsuccessful, flagged by the bank, or fails security checks.

 

Prohibited Activities

 

Fraudulent Activities:

Users are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent activities such as the use of stolen credit card information, misrepresentation of identity, and false claims. Any user found engaging in such activities will have their account terminated, and legal action may be taken.

 

Return & Refund Abuse:

Customers are prohibited from abusing the return or refund policies by returning used, altered, or misrepresented items. Returns or refunds will not be accepted for products that do not meet the criteria outlined in our Return & Exchange Policy.

 

Chargebacks & Payment Reversals

Chargebacks:

In the event of a chargeback or payment reversal initiated by the customer, Koura reserves the right to suspend the user account and take legal action if fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks occur.

 

Payment Reversals:

If a payment reversal is found to be fraudulent or without merit, the customer will be liable for all costs incurred by Koura, including product fees and legal costs.

 

Return & Exchange Abuse

Return Conditions:

Products must be returned in their original condition with packaging, certificates, and documentation. Custom-made items or altered jewelry are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

 

Refund Policy Abuse:

Returns or refunds will not be processed for items that show signs of use, damage, or alteration. Koura reserves the right to charge the customer for any damage caused by misuse.

 

Koura Wallet & Store Credit Misuse

Wallet & Store Credit Restrictions:

Koura Wallet and store credits are non-transferable and can only be used for valid purchases. Misuse of store credits for fraudulent activities, such as generating multiple refunds or exchanges, will result in account suspension and cancellation of credits.

 

Non-Refundable Transactions:

Any transactions made using Koura Wallet or store credits are non-refundable. Store credits will not be issued in case of fraud detection.

 

Legal Recourse & Liability

Legal Action:

Any fraudulent activity, including the use of stolen payment methods, misrepresentation of product condition, or abuse of promotions, will result in account termination. Legal action may be pursued, and the customer will be liable for all associated costs and damages.

Account Suspension & Refusal of Service

 

Right to Refuse Service:

Koura reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at its discretion, including customers who engage in fraudulent activities or violate the website's terms.

 

Account Termination:

Koura may suspend or terminate user accounts that are suspected of fraudulent activities, including but not limited to, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, and identity theft.
